There are a lot of aftermarket kits for dressing up the pedals.  Some of them are made especially for the Porsche Boxster.  We looked at a lot of the ones available on EBay and finally settle on a set of aluminum set with a dead foot (left) panel for $50.

Attaching the pedals were pretty easy.  The original rubber pieces covering the pedals needed to be removed, revealing the metal pedal underneath.  The set was made of heavy gauge aluminum and attaches to the pedals with machine screws.

We had trouble drilling the holes for the piece for the gas pedal... so in the end we super-glued it to the pedal.  It's been holding fine... we used a LOT of superglue :-)

The Momo floor pieces was also purchased on EBay ($90).  It came with both the driver and passenger side, but we realized the passenger side was actually better for the driver since it had an extension into the heel area.  We decided NOT to install the passenger side and sold it on EBay for $50!

Aluminum Pedal and

Floor Installation

The Porsche Boxster does not come with a lot of trimming.  A few pieces of aluminum under the dash really dressed up the interior!

Project Summary:

1. Difficulty - Easy

2. Time - 1 hour

3. Tools - awk, super-glue

4. Cost - $100 to $150
