The Porsche Boxster is one of the most enjoyable automobile we have ever owned here at the RainyDayGarage.  The car handles amazingly well because of the mid-engine design. 

We have done lots or really fun projects because the car's systems are so accessible. 

However, not everything on the Boxster lasts as long as we would have liked.  We had the plastic rear window repaired after two years and is now showing signs that this will likely be the last season for the new one. 

Constantly having to replace the plastic rear window of the Porsche Boxster is one of the most frustrating part of owning this car!

When we mentioned we wanted to do this project, a reader on PPBB donated a top he was replacing to the cause.

In this article, we'll document our attempts to repair the rear plastic window and if successful, replace the top and follow the progress of the repairs over time.
