RainyDayRenovations...

Each Solar LED House Number comes complete with it own solar panel, mounting bracket, and front number plate.  Just pair up the required number of units and you are good to go.

The solar cells are sealed against the element and the housing is watertight.  The aluminum pieces used for the housing wer extruded rathen then bent into shape.

Note the channels in the back plate.  When mated with the base, it will form a barrier against rain and other elements trying to work its way inside the unit.

The number is laser cut out of the aluminum plate.  The edges are clean but sharp enough to cut.  Do handle with care.

The LEDs are under the housing (red arrow).  They are permanently mounted to the circuit board and are not designed to be user replaceable.  However, we expect them to last for a LONG time... probably longer than the NiMH rechargeable battery (green barrel) that is in the unit.

We exposed these for a few hours to see just how bright the LEDs were.  The LEDs will automatically come on when it is sufficiently dark.  We were surprised at the amount of light given off by the two LEDs.  It'll be interesting to see how it looks when mounted outside.
